Something a little bit different and a bit quirky an Easter Egg sandwich from Hotel Chocolat.
Two, quite thick slabs of 70% cocoa dark chocolate studded with cocoa nibs for crunch and texture, are sandwiched between two elegantly decorated Easter Egg shell halves which are also dark chocolate.
The two halves are then placed back to back in a rather ingenious box that folds out from a triangle to flat, leaving the little sandwich egg standing proudly in the middle.
The chocolate is smooth with a good rich flavour, but is not too strong or over the top, the cocoa nibs give a good soft crunch to the chocolate really add to the dark chocolate flavour.
