Five Easter egg collections from Green & Black’s, each containing three Easter eggs and two chocolate bars, in different milk and dark chocolate flavour combinations.

The Maya Gold, my favourite Green & Black’s flavour, collection contains all dark chocolate eggs and bars; a Luxury Dark egg a 180g egg with two 100g chocolate bars – dark chocolate with ginger and dark chocolate with cherry, a thick shelled Maya Gold Easter 180g, a 100g box of dark chocolate mini eggs with praline centres and two mini bars, 70% dark chocolate and Maya Gold – both 35g each.

Thick shelled Milk chocolate egg with the succulent signature flavour of Green and Black’s, accompanied by two large chocolate bars.

Green & Black’s have a darker style of milk chocolate compared to other companies as they use more cocoa mass, this gives the chocolate a more darker intense taste.

There is something special about Green & Black’s 70% dark chocolate; rich dark taste, a beautifully smooth texture and a deep colour to the chocolate.

Organically produced high-quality bittersweet dark chocolate, crafted into a thick shelled Easter egg. A very popular egg, I always have one of these at Easter – even if I buy it myself. And it has my personal recommendation for anyone wanting to try dark chocolate, as it is not too bitter.

The Cherry bar: Voted the Best New Organic Product at the Natural products Show 2004, in contrast to the ginger bar, the sharp tang of cherries complement the flavour of the gives the 60% dark chocolate.

Another of my favourites from last year was the Butterscotch Easter egg by Green & Black’s and it was the most popular with everyone else, defiantly had the “ummmm” factor. Crisp organic butterscotch toffee is blended into the thick chocolate shell, this adds a gentle crunch and a mellow flavour that enhances the already delicious rich milk chocolate that Green & Black’s are famous for.

Last years egg was in a box with mini eggs, this year’s has a thicker chocolate shell and no eggs. The new style box saves on cardboard and contains no plastic containers, as with all of this years Green & Black’s Easter eggs.

The Butterscotch egg is also in Easter egg collections on own Green & Black’s site.
