New Cadburys Easter Egg Soft Toys

The two new Easter eggs for 2011 are the CurlyWurly Snake Egg and the Dairy Milk Freddo Egg; both of these eggs contain a cute soft toy, a chocolate bar and have activities on the boxes relating to the toys inside.

The Cadbury CurlyWurly Easter Egg has a hollow milk chocolate egg and a mini Curly Wurly bar inside with an endearing purple snake toy, the activity is Dingle-Dangle Snakes – cut out snakes you colour in to make hanging mobiles.

In the Cadbury Dairy Milk Freddo Easter Egg you get the same egg and a Freddo bar, which seems to just be a Dairy Milk bar and the Freddo Frog toy, the activity is to turn the Easter egg box into a boat with a cut-out sail on one side.

Mr Cadbury Bear Easter Eggs

Three of Cadburys largest Easter eggs, the Giant eggs, come with a Mr Cadbury Bear – a sandy brown teddy bear dressed in a purple waistcoat with gold buttons, purple pads on his paws and a gold “C” on his left foot.

This adorable cartoon character turned into a soft toy is dark brown with a lighter shade of brown on her tummy, face and the inside of her ears, a large pink ribbon round her neck, with big eyes and even bigger ears she stands 36cm tall.

These are the large Cadbury Easter eggs with an added extra; the Flying Disc toy, which is 7inches/178mm across. Both have activities on the box, cut out shapes you put in the ground and whichever team gets closest wins.

Previously known as the The Rocky Road to Caramellow Ostrich Egg, the giant MILK Ostrich egg is back and just as tempting!

An extra large Easter egg with a selection of twenty two chocolates, this egg is just one of the two biggest eggs from the Hotel Chocolat Easter range.

The immense Easter egg, measures 285mm tall (that’s just under eleven inches, in old money) and are called Ostrich Easters eggs because they are about the size and weight of real Ostrich eggs!

The two chunky chocolate shells are made from 40% cocoa milk chocolate, the egg is then covered with more chocolate chunks, crispies and cookie pieces and the covered in more chocolate and decorated. This big Easter egg also comes with a selection of chocolates inside the egg box, including two mini chocolate slabs, an Easter bunny lolly and a collection of mellow chocolates in sixteen different flavours.

I am a big fan of Hotel Chocolat’s milk chocolate, really smooth and mellow with a good cocoa flavour. I have not tasted all of the other flavour combinations, but this collection would be the perfect way to sample them.

Stylishly presented “nesting” in a box of soft paper twirls, above a drawer containing the Easter chocolate selection – this really is a chocolate Easter egg to impress.

Hotel Chocolat has released a sneak preview of their wonderful chocolate Easter eggs for 2010, available from the 15th of February – but you can order them now and they will deliver them when they are in stock.
